Dental care for your new agreatdog Chow, Shih Tzu and Sheltie puppy
As a new Puppy Owner, it is your responsibiliy to care for your Chow, Shih Tzu or Sheltie puppy in every way. Dental care is an important consideration and can be a root cause for many health issues.
Good Dental Care can come in many forms
1) Teeth brushing (as shown in the video to the right)
2) Using Chew products that have ingredients for dental benefits
3) Yearly teeth scraping by a veterinary profesional
The use of Chew and teeth brushing alone will not be sufficient to prevent all tartar and gum disease problems. Dental scrapings are still needed. The more time you invest in preventative dental care, the less frequent teeth scaping becomes.
We recommend Enzymatic toothpase, which contain enzymes that combine with the dogs saliva and releases hydrogen peroxide which kills many of the bacteria involved gum diseases.
Dental Problems will disappear by feeding a Biologically Appropriate Raw Food with bones
To ensure that all our animals all receive extraordinary care, we are Licensed and Inspected by the Iowa Dept of Agriculture, the American Kennel Club and Fredericksburg Vet Clinic (Supervising Vet).
All of our puppies have an optional microchip ID for identification and to determine origin. We will always take back any of our puppies if ever unwanted or abandoned, no questions asked.
